Our story begins a few months before dating even started... I (Emma) visited Plant City Church of God in September 2022 for the first time and fell in love with the church, along with the people who attend it. For Stone, he says it started for him the second he saw me walk into the building that first time... For me, it didn't really start for several months after that. It was a slow build. I started attending the young adult classes, which Stone was leading at the time, and every day, a mere attraction to his singing voice turned more and more into wondering what could be.

April 17th, 2023, we had our official first date and there were many to follow. During our time together, we've enjoyed going to theme parks, light traveling, family vacations, going fishing, golfing, playing board games, and watching movies.

After a few months of dating, I handed Stone a strawberry flavored ring pop and told him, if he wanted to marry me, I would say yes with just that. April 17th 2025, after two years of dating, he pulled the EXACT ring pop I gave him out of his jacket pocket and dropped to one knee.

He did have an actual engagement ring in his other pocket but the ring pop almost meant more.

He spoke from his heart with sincerity as he held my hand and asked me to marry him… And I said yes!
